Clubs & Activities

The Middle School Drama Club performs a play each fall.  Audition announcements and/or club meetings can be posted here and are always included in morning announcements.  The Middle School Drama Club also participates in the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild's one act play competition held the first weekend in May.  Auditions for the play are scheduled for the week following February vacation.   All students are encouraged and welcome to get involved, whether interested in acting or participating behind the scenes in set design and audio-visual work.

Student Council promotes leadership in the Middle School that addresses the unique identity of middle school students in a 6-12 school. It is an opportunity for the student body to have a voice in their experience here at Cohasset Middle-High School.  Students interested complete nomination papers and then elections are held in the first few weeks of school.  Members are expected to commit time and energy to the program, and to meet regularly during lunch with Mrs. Gordon.  The middle school student council organizes the annual Halloween Dance and also plans school "spirit days" throughout the year. Students are encouraged to connect with student council members throughout the year to make suggestions.

The Middle School Yearbook is an excellent opportunity for students to express their creative side. Photography, copy, layout, and page design are just a few avenues available for self expression. Join the staff and capture the moments from which memories are made. The staff meeting are monthly from early September until May but page meetings are more frequent as we get close to publication.
